Information HeadAura handles

Depending on the features you use, HeadAura may handle the following information on your device:

• Migraine details you enter, such as dates, severity, symptoms, triggers, medications, and notes.
• App preferences, onboarding status, and local settings.
• Health information you choose to make available through Apple Health, including sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, and steps used to show context around migraine dates.
• Headache symptom entries that you explicitly choose to write to Apple Health.
• Backup files you choose to create, import, export, or share using the device’s file and sharing tools.

How your information is used

HeadAura uses this information only to provide the features you request: recording and displaying your migraine history, showing optional health context, creating or restoring backups, and synchronizing optional headache entries with Apple Health.

HeadAura does not use your health information for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Storage and sharing

Your migraine records are stored locally in the app on your device. HeadAura does not send your migraine journal to a HeadAura server and does not require an account.

Apple Health data remains governed by Apple’s HealthKit permissions and policies. HeadAura accesses it only after you grant permission. If you export or share a backup, the file is handled by the destination you select, such as Files, Mail, or another app. Review the recipient before sharing sensitive health information.

Permissions and your choices

• Apple Health access is optional. You can deny or revoke access in the Health app at any time.
• Apple Health writes are disabled unless you turn on the optional migraine-sync setting.
• You can edit or delete migraine entries from History.
• You can export or restore your data from Settings.
• Removing HeadAura from your device removes its local app data. Apple Health entries are managed separately in the Health app.

Children’s privacy

HeadAura is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of HeadAura after a change means you have reviewed the updated policy.
